Membership is a privilege.
Our members enjoy their membership privileges throughout the year. Our thriving community enjoy fantastic social events like the Blue Claw Crab Festival, Night at the Races and Music by the Bay. We make sure our members have a voice in our community by inviting all our elected officials, and local idea makers, for Q&A at the clubhouse monthly general meeting. As members it is our duty to keep up the waterfront, maintain the marinas, and have a ton of fun while doing it!
We have three membership classes:
Resident Member - Pays taxes in the 11951 zip code has the right to vote in member elections.
Associate Member -- Pays taxes outside the 11951 zip code cannot vote or become a director, but would still like to enjoy membership at the M.B.P.O.A.
Junior Member -- A young adult between the ages of 21–26 of a regular member in the 11951 zip code, does not have the right to vote in elections because they do not own property, but has the privileges of a regular member including: hall rental, boat slip rental, and bar access.
